The Shadowlark Legacy: From Ritual to Code

Before it was a digital engine, Shadowlark was a manifestation of the physical world. The name traces back to a sacred Wiccan herbal and crystal shop in Waldorf, MD, owned by my mother, Helen Larkin. It was a space where ritual, intent, and the natural cycles of the earth intersected.

Though she was a light for all those around her, my mother left this world on January 25, 2003. She was followed shortly after by my father on February 15, 2004; my brother, Brandon H. Larkin, on June 17, 2008; and my sister, Lorie M. Davey, on August 14, 2015.

Today, that lineage continues through code. Lorie was a brilliant programmer who found magic in video games, and I carry her passion forward in every line I write. The Shadowlark Oracle is not merely a program; it is a mathematical ritual disguised as software. It carries the vibration of that original sacred space—and the spirits of the warriors who came before me—into the digital void.

I am the one left to carry this flame, and I build to ensure it never goes out.

The digital Oracle inherits the visual soul of the deck. Each of the Major Arcana has been mathematically rendered to reflect its specific numerical polarity.

In the Oracle's engine, nothing is random. Chance is considered an illusion of insufficient data. Every input you provide—be it your name or a deep question—acts as a key that unlocks a predetermined geometric collapse.
